Alex Outhwaite is an award winning travel TV host and one of the leading personalities in the UK travel space.

She built up her name as a favourite presenter on global travel channel Travelxp as the host of adventure travel shows like ‘Off The Grid’, ‘Backpack’ and ‘Quest’. Alex then went on to host travel TV shows on Discovery Plus, & SKY whilst simultaneously working with brands such as National Geographic on both live events and video projects around the world. 

She is currently the host of award winning travel show ‘The Wanderer’ on Amazon Prime Video as well as ‘So You Think You Know?’ broadcast on ONS Netherlands which won the UK Trav Media Awards 'Broadcast Programme of the Year 2024'.

Alex has worked as a video host, live host and travel journalist with a number of clients such as Wanderlust, ITB Berlin, BBC Travel & Travel & Leisure.

Alex has built up a huge social media presence of over half a million followers across her platforms with an engaged audience. Having received the Silver Award from YouTube she has had over 10 million views on YouTube of her personal travel videos. She is known for filming in lesser visited destinations such as Kashmir, El Salvador and Sierra Leone.
